Jabuticaba (Grimal, Layering) Fruit Plant

Grimal Jaboticaba is a high-yielding variety known for producing larger fruits compared to many other jaboticaba types. The fruits are mildly hairy, large in size, and contain a thick, almost gelatinous pulp with small seeds. It is a bushy plant that produces fruits in abundance and can yield up to four crops per year.

The tree bark tends to peel naturally, revealing a lighter inner bark. False jaboticaba may develop multiple trunks over time. The leaves are lance-shaped, bright green, and glossy. Flowers appear in clusters and are snowy white with prominent, showy stamens.

The plant has no frost tolerance but adapts well to a variety of soil types. It grows best in full sun with well-draining soil.
